In a Low Dark Light (2012)

Growing up I was drawn to songs by story tellers like Neil Young, Dylan, The Band. I loved the imagery. I loved that they were tales and not just songs about chicks (although i do love songs about chicks!). These artists shaped my tastes and expectations about what I like in a good song. Peter Hicks has a gift for writing concise narratives. Each song is like a three or four minute film taking the listener away and into a narrative world full of imagery and texture.
